The Gratitude Diaries: Movement & Stillness http://oneinfinitelife.com/the-gratitude-diaries-9/

Movement and stillness.

Two things that make my life infinitely better.

Something I attempt to do everyday is engage in some sort of movement and stillness.

And because I spend a lot of time sitting at my computer, I’ve been consciously adding more and more pockets of movement and stillness throughout my day.

Today’s Gratitude Diaries is about a few things that have been helping make movement and stillness in my life a lot more frequent, enjoyable and a little more sweeter…

Looking for some inspiring podcasts to start listening to? Here are 6 of my current favourites... http://oneinfinitelife.com/inspiring-podcasts/

I’m currently obsessed with podcasts.

And at the moment I listen to podcasts pretty much every day.

I listen to them instead of watching TV, or when I go for a walk, or while I’m in the car or on public transport, when doing stuff around the house (like cleaning or cooking) or when I’m working on the computer.

I find them to be entertaining, as well as inspiring and useful.

So if you’re looking for some inspiring podcasts to listen to, here are my picks…

Paper Towns is a brilliant coming of age story by John green that profoundly demonstrates some really complex lessons about the way we relate and connect to each other... http://oneinfinitelife.com/what-we-can-learn-from-paper-towns-by-john-green

Paper Towns is the brilliant coming-of-age story of Quentin, who has been infatuated with his neighbour Margo Roth Spiegelman, forever.

One night they share an epic adventure, and the next day Margo disappears leaving obscure clues behind, and Q attempts to solve these clues — hoping that they will help him find Margo —  which leads him on an adventure to find her with his friends.

Paper Towns is a story is about love, friendship and what it’s like to be young.

One of my favourite things about the story is that it profoundly demonstrates some really complex lessons about the way we relate and connect to each other.

Here are 5 (of the many) things we can learn from Paper Towns by John Green…

Here are the best things I ever did... http://oneinfinitelife.com/best-things-i-ever-did/

Inspired by Danielle Laporte, here are 33 of the best things I ever did…

1. Started taking action before I felt ‘ready’ — and realised that I would never ever truly feel ready anyway.

2. Started living my life based on how I wanted to feel. The Desire Map revolutionised the way I approached my goals and entire life in general.

3. Actually started using the treadmill that was gathering dust in my parent’s garage.

4. Devoted myself to really practicing gratitude.

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty is an incredible movie about making the most out of life. It reminds us of what life really is about: Living. Possibilities. Connection. Adventure. Courage. This movie can teach us a lot about life http://oneinfinitelife.com/lessons-we-can-takeaway-from-the-secret-life-of-walter-mitty

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty is one of my all-time favourite movies. Ever.

It’s a really incredible movie about making the most out of life.

It has an inspiring storyline, beautiful cinematography and an incredible soundtrack.

I watch this movie whenever I want to feel inspired, and it always reminds me what life is really about…

Living. Possibilities. Connection. Adventure. Courage.

The story is about Walter Mitty, who spends more time living in his head, than in reality. When he is forced to take action he ends up embarking on an adventure, which ends up being more amazing than anything he could of possibly imagined.

It’s an inspiring movie that is both heartfelt and funny (“I was saying you know who looks good in a beard? Dumbledore. Not you.”)

For me it really ticks all the boxes that make for a great movie, plus I love that it can teach us a lot about life as well.

I took an unintentional break from blogging and this is what I learnt... http://oneinfinitelife.com/the-secret-to-doing-your-best-work

I recently took an unintentional break from blogging because I was creatively burnout.

The university semester had come to an end. I had handed in my last assignments and finished my last classes. I packed up my house and moved back home.

And I was planning on diving back into blogging as soon as possible.

But that never happened.

I was exhausted and completely drained. I had no ideas and even when I tried I couldn’t create anything worthy of reading anyway.

No matter how hard I pushed, it just wasn’t happening.

Cue: Mega frustration.

One day I was out walking and listening to an amazing episode of The Lively Show with Alexandra Franzen, where she shared this incredible truthbomb…
