The bad days.
The days where everything just seems to go wrong.
The ones where you just want to crawl back to bed and start the day again.
We all have them.
But the truth is we also have the the power to to turn the day around.
Or at least make it suck less.
I truly believe that:
So if you’re day has been a little like this…

And you want to make it more like this…

Here are some of my best ideas to help you create the good in your day, to help turn your day around completely, to make your day suck less, or just to help make your day more awesome!

Recently I read an amazing post by Nic from A Spectacular Life where she wrote an incredible letter to her younger self. Both Nic’s post and the latest Youtube initiative #DearMe has prompted me to think about what advice would I give my younger self.
First of all, I truly believe that everything that has ever happened to me has led me to exactly where I am today.
So if I could go back in time, and do it all again I really don’t think I would do anything differently.
I think regretting the past is a waste of energy.
In saying that though, reflecting on the past can really help you realise that it really did lead you to where you are today.
And you can learn a lot from that.
As Steve Jobs said:
By looking back on my life and connecting the dots I decided that if I could travel back in time I would definitely want to give my younger self some advice.
So here are the 23 nuggets of wisdom I would want to share with my younger self.

For this segment of Blogs I’m Digging I’m going to share with you my favourite blogs about blogging.
Ever since I started my blog these sites have been my go-tos for anything blogging related.

Firstly (and most importantly) it’s essential that if you want to be more productive you do what works best for you.
It doesn’t matter what other people do to be more productive if it doesn’t help you.
Experiment with different ways of doing things to discover how you work best and you will become so much more productive.
This might mean that you discover work better in the morning or you might be more productive in the late afternoons.
It’s important that if you want to be more productive you honour how you work best.

Happy Friday you incredible human!
The February Link Fest is here. And it’s just in time for some weekend reading.
Here is a collection of the some of my favourite things on the internet this month, including overcoming the distraction habit, why you’re not doing that one thing that you really want to do, simple and easy ways to add gratitude into your life, how to shine at public speaking (or work, or just life in general), combatting fear of missing out and overcoming writers block, as well as adding a creative sparkle to your writing.
Plus a healthier carrot cake recipe, some Harry Potter awesomeness and an incredible cover by Ed Sheeren, and so much more!

I’m always super excited to share some my favourite blogs with you in my Blogs I’m Digging series.
And today is absolutely no exception as I’m sharing three of my my absolute favourite blogs at the moment, who belong to three women who are incredible and absolutely inspire the pants off me.

Claire is “your personal advocate for living an energised, playful and heart-centred life” and her blog This Is Lifeblood is honest, fun, empowering and even a little cheeky – just like Claire herself.

Confession time: I am a huge book worm.
I have loved reading pretty much ever since I can remember.
Growing up I would borrow more books from my local library than I could carry. Only to return a week later to borrow more.
As I child I pretty much lived inside books and I would read anywhere and everywhere that I could. Seriously.
This one time I continued to read during a live Collingwood vs. Sydney AFL match. No disrespect to football, but I find read more thrilling. Especially when it is one of those amazing must-find-out-what-happens kinda books.
So now that I’ve revealed that I am a super book nerd, we can move on…

As I got older I found it much harder to find the time to read. I also often here people say that they wish they had more time to read.
Unfortunately we can’t get more time, but something we can do is make better use of the time that we do have, so we can spend more time doing the things that we love (in my case that is reading).
I have been working on how to read more by trying many different things and here is what has worked for me…

Happy Monday awesome human!
Although honestly, mine didn’t start off too happily.
I woke up this morning feeling completely overwhelmed, unmotivated and stressed out, which is definitely not the way I wanted to start a fresh week.
So this morning instead of diving head first into my to-do list and exam revision, I’m choosing to start the day (and week) off on a high with The Gratitude Diaries.

I recently read a Taking Stock post by Jo from The Mindful Morning, which led me to Nikki’s post, which then led me to Tahlia’s post, which led me to the creator of the Taking Stock post Meet Me At Mikes.
Fuelled by desire to do something a little different on the blog today I have decided to a Taking Stock post of my own, which just involves writing what is going on for you at the moment in response to some prompts.

Earlier this week I shared a behind the scenes lowdown on how I created and launched my free ebook Infinite: Take your life to the next level and beyond!
The process of writing, creating and launching my eBook was an extraordinary learning experience and so today I’m going to share some the lessons I took away from this experience, plus extend some gratitude to some incredible humans that helped make my eBook happen.

One of my Core Desire Feelings is generosity, and this was one of my main drivers for launching a free eBook. I wanted to feel generous and give something for nothing. When I was creating Infinite I put as much thought, effort and consideration into it as if it was a paid product, then gave it away for free. The feedback I’ve received really reflects that the generosity was much appreciated, and it felt good for me too.
