The first month of the year involved a whole lot of devotion, but honestly I’ve been doing too much work.
There has been too many long hours (and days) working at the computer and less of the stuff that makes me feel good.
Last week I asked myself: Am I honestly happy with how I’ve been spending my life-minutes?
The answer was not surprisingly: No.
As Marriane Williamson said: “We are often tired and imbalanced not because we are doing too much, but because we are doing too little of what is most real and meaningful.”
And I definitely was not doing enough of what was real and most important to me.
From this simple question, I started to be more conscious about the way I was spending my time. I made a conscious effort to exercise and do stuff for myself before starting work, I took half an hour away to step away from work when I had lunch and I made an effort to switch off earlier at the end of the day.
It also started a ripple effect of more questions (which I’ve included in this post).
I truly believe that asking ourselves questions can be super powerful and insightful, and because of that, here are 76 questions to ask yourself today, tomorrow, when you’re not feeling great — whenever really.
Some of them are simple, some of them are not, some of these I’ve been asking myself recently and some have come from my favourite blog posts and books.
These questions will spark self-discovery, inspire positive change, and make you stop and think about yourself and the way you’re living life.

Training with the Beautiful You Coaching Academy truly changed my life.
I know that is a big call to make, but it’s completely true. Doing this course is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
The Beautiful You Life Coaching Course created by Julie Parker is THE life coaching course for those who want to serve the world by being the best heart-centred life coach they can possibly be.
Training to become a Beautiful You coach was one of the most incredible experiences of my life. One that I know I’ll continue to look back on this as such an incredible experience in my life. The course has directly played a huge role in where I am right now and the work I do today.
There’s truly a reason why you’ll find so many people online raving about this course. There aren’t life coaching courses in existence quite like what the Beautiful You Coaching Academy offers.
This review of the Beautiful You Coaching Academy includes what led me to this course, what I got out of the course (including the stuff I wasn’t expecting), what I absolutely loved about the training, why it’s so much more than just a life coaching course, PLUS an incredible special offer for future Beautiful You life coaches (at no extra cost to you!).
If you have a dream to become a life coach I truly (hand on my heart) would recommend the Beautiful You Coaching Academy. Here’s why…

I cannot believe we’re already in the last week of January already. So, in the spirit of reflection and gratitude, here is the first segment of The Gratitude Diaries for 2016, done in a Taking Stock style (prompts by Meet Me At Mikes).
Cooking: a Cardamom and sea salt ganache tart for my Mum’s birthday (from this cookbook).
Drinking: A lot of cold-pressed juice as I kicked off the year with a semi juice cleanse with Greenhouse Juicery.
Reading: Die Empty by Todd Henry and The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer.
Playing: On Snapchat and have unexpectedly been really enjoying sharing candid snippets of my days (if you want to play on Snapchat with me you can find me here: @chloe_wigan)
Deciding: On new Core Desired Feelings for 2016
Enjoying: Having my sister come and stay with us for over a month.

On the Internet — and especially in the self-development world — we’re often bombarded with this advice:
We’re told that if we follow our passions it will lead to our purpose — and ultimately we will find happiness.
But honestly, I don’t believe in this advice (which may surprise you because I’m a life coach!) Because the truth is that following your passion is only part of the equation.
So in this post I’m going to explain why I believe this and also share with you the advice I choose to live by instead.
Here’s what I believe is the truth about following your passion…

I totally believe in putting out into the world what you want to receive more of yourself.
So, if you want the world to be more generous or want more generosity in your life it starts with you.
As Justin Timberlake put it:
What goes around comes back around
But also, being generous and giving feels amazing.
One of my Core Desired Feelings last year was GENEROSITY. And throughout the year I experimented with how I could feel more generous. Some of the things I did to cultivate generosity include:
∞ Creating a free ebook. And it felt really incredible to put as much thought, effort and consideration into creating this eBook as I would if it was a paid product, and then giving it away for free.
∞ Doing pro-bono coaching work.
∞ Continually creating free content, which included 79 blog posts and 22 inspirational emails to the Infinite community.
∞ Sharing the awesome work of others in my monthly Link Fest posts.
All these things felt AMAZING to do and helped me to feel more generous, and I also discovered this: incorporating small acts of generosity into your daily life will change your life.
Because of this, I thought I would share a list of some of the simple things you can do to feel (and be) more generous.
Some of these things are things I’ve done myself, or things I’ve been on the receiving end of, or things I intend to do in the future.
And I have no doubt about it, if you devote yourself to incorporating more acts of generosity in your life you will feel absolutely incredible!
The generosity ripple effect begins with YOU, and here are some possibilities on how you can begin…

I’m not good enough.
I will never be good enough.
I’m never going to be as successful as them.
I don’t deserve to be happy as them.
Sound familiar?
Meet your inner critic.
Also known as your ego or mean girl (or boy).
It’s the voice inside your head that’s negative and critical.
It totally believes in — and helps to perpetuate — the limiting beliefs we have about ourselves. It tries to keep us small. It’s totally afraid of our best selves and will stop at nothing to try and keep us down.
The inner critic is rooted in fear and comes from a place of lack and feeling unworthy.
As Marianne Williamson says “the ego is quite literally, a fearful though”.
Sounds like it should be the enemy right?
Well maybe… However trying to battle, defeat or obilitarate my inner critic has never really worked for me (and I’ve tried!)
Even though the inner critic tries to keep us small, I don’t believe it’s the enemy, at all. And I actually believe that it’s just doing it’s job, which is to protect us.
I have found that the more I fight my inner critic, the more it fights back and not buying into it becomes more challenging.
Dealing with the inner critic is serious stuff, but I don’t like to take a serious approach with is at all. Instead, I have found that taking a fun approach to dealing with my inner critic is really effective way to not let it hold me back.
I’ve tried many different things to try to live in harmony with my inner critic, but the most effective ways to do this are the ones that seem a little silly.
Eckhart Tolle says “don’t take your thoughts too seriously” — and I like to take this approach with my inner critic as well.
So on that note, if you want to try a different approach to deal with your inner critic, in this post I’m sharing my favourite ways to not take my ego so seriously.

As we’re at the beginning of a new year I thought I would give you an insight into what my guiding word is for 2016, what it means to me and how I came up with it. And I’ll also be sharing what my Core Desire Feelings are for the year head (aka how I want to feel), what the mean to me, how I came up with them, plus some useful tips for coming up with your own Core Desired Feelings.
But before we get into that here’s a little recap my word and Core Desired Feelings for last year…
In 2015 my word was: DEVOTION. And this turned out to be such a powerful guiding word and turned out to be so much more than I thought it would be.
My Core Desired Feelings for last year were: CONNECTION. JOY. GRATITUDE. EASE. GENEROSITY. And these served me really well last year, but by the end of the year I felt ready to switch them up.

It’s been a huge year, so in the spirit of celebration, reflection and gratitude, I would love to share with you some of the most profound lessons and experiences of my 2015.
