Being grateful is one of the (many) important practices that helps me to live my best life. Last week I shared my tips to create a powerful Gratitude practice, and one of them was to publicly declare your Gratitudes. So today I’m walking my talk and starting what I hope to be regular feature on my blog: The Gratitude Diaries. It will be a space where I can share the things that I am appreciative of and things I am loving.
Oh and the inspiration for the name of this series came from one of my favourite shows The Vampire Diaries (is anyone else excited that season 6 started last week?)
Here are a few things that I am grateful for at the moment…
This meditation by Belinda Davidson is actually magic. Recently I was experiencing some persistent anxiety and all my usual tricks were not helping like they usually do. Meditation is something that is really hard to do when you are overwhelmed with anxious energy, so I turned to this guided meditation instead. Belinda says ‘change your energy, and it will change your life’. So I committed to doing this meditation regularly and I am so grateful that it helped to relieve the anxiety and stress.
Oh and also I am now obsessed with the chakras! If you are interested in learning more about the chakras Belinda has an awesome free chakra course which you can check out here.
Rachel Macdonald has created something mind-blowing and indescribable with this incredible course. I know for sure that I will be singing the praise of this course for a long time to come. Simply put: my blog would not exist without this course. The course is inspiring and motivating as well as being really practical and actionable. Oh and the Facebook community is just next-level. I seriously think it contains the most incredible souls on the planet. And just being in the presence of these game-changers has had such a profound influence on me. I cannot put into words how grateful I am for this course, it is so much more than just a ‘blogging’ course, it is actually life-changing.
Last week it was my birthday and I was very lucky to get my very first piece of Violet Gray jewellery: a solar plexus necklace. The attention to detail is outstanding including the beautiful packaging, the matching mandala card and of course the actual necklace itself. I am so grateful for this necklace, because it is beautiful but also intentional. I think this is the start of a beautiful obsession with Violet Gray jewellery.
Starting my coursework for the Beautiful You Coaching Academy life coach course + chakra balancing balm + wood fire pizza + tummy tea from T2 + farmers markets + Tiny Beautiful Things by Cheryl Strayed + seeing the musical Chicago live + having my family visit on the weekend + smoked salmon bagels + this incredible frozen pink cheesecake that my boyfriend made me for my birthday + having a space online where I can share these things I have been loving.
I would love for you to share something you are grateful for in the comments below.
Have a beautiful day!
