You may have heard on the grapevine that I am currently in the midst of creating a free eBook for my newsletter subscribers. The ebook is going to be super inspirational and contain some stories from my own life, as well as some actionable tips. Last week I shared a snippet with my newsletter subscribers about how to overcome fear. It got such a great response I decided to share a little sneak peek here on the blog as well. Enjoy!
Befriend Fear
One of the reasons you may not be living your dream life right now is because of fear. Fear of failure, judgement, rejection, the unknown or whatever is plaguing you. Being afraid of any of these things is holding you back from living your best life. So in order to take your life to the next level you need to get friendly with fear.
Instead of letting fear holding you back, use fear to your advantage. It will guide you to do things that you desperately want to – but are afraid of. I have come to believe the fear really helps us grow.

Getting friendly with fear in my own life:
I was so afraid of starting a blog even though I had desperately wanted to for a long time. I find it difficult to put myself ‘out there’ and fear was really holding me back. Once I took the plunge and did it – amazing things happened, and I wondered why I hadn’t done it sooner. I can’t imagine what my life would be like if I hadn’t done the thing that I was most afraid of.
IF FEAR IS HOLDING YOU BACK FROM YOUR DREAMS, ASK YOURSELF THESE QUESTIONS:
- ∞ If I did the scary thing what is the best, most amazing thing that could happen?
- ∞ What would my life be like if I never ever did the scary thing?
- ∞ After I had done the scary thing how would I feel?
